Completed Class XII and looking forward to a resplendent future in the engineering discipline? Well, this is the right juncture to apply for India’s largest common engineering entrance exam, AIEEE 2012. The AIEEE 2012 is being organized under the guidance of CBSE, and the applications are only accepted online-at the official website www.aieee.nic.in. It appears that many of the entrance commissions are choosing the online concept for collecting applications and conducting exams from then on. It not only eases the application course but also the allotment, providing hall ticket and the evaluation process. CBSE began piloting the online AIEEE exam from the last year onwards-but last time, there was only a limited number of seats. Contestants can write AIEEE 2012 in online/offline mode according to their preference and convenience.

Probably, you would have an approximate idea about AIEEE 2012, regarding partaking institutions and the eligibility norms. The exam which is  based upon the NCERT syllabus is endorsed by all engineering colleges in India, and the top-most rank holders can even get direct admission to the prestigious IITs.  AIEEE 2012 on the whole is objective in style and follows negative marking policy. It will be conducted on 29th of April  2012 in two schedules. When I applied for the exam a few years ago the application forms were distributed through schools and banks. After filling the details and paying fees in offline mode the form had to be mailed to the CBSE office in Delhi. As per the new changes established in AIEEE 2012 registrations, everyone should apply for the exam online at-

Subsequently, the website will generate a registration number-use that to make the payment through a credit/debit card or internet banking.  Then take a print-out of the payment approval page, affix two recent photographs, sign it and get it attested from your principal.  Verify everything and send it to the address of AIEEE (given below) through speed post, before 31st of this December.

In our opinion, online exam is the optimal pick for you if you’re living near to one of the test centers. The advantage of the internet exam is that you can change answers at any time after filling it, and also there would be an option to switch the language of questions between Hindi and English, within the exam engine.  The exam fee for the online version of AIEEE 2012 is less than that of the offline, and appliers will get one more month for preparation as it is timed on May.
